"How Wiradjuri Country Came to Be" book about the Creation of Wiradjuri Country

An A4 printable and digital flip-book with 25 pages that tells the creation of Wiradjuri Country with information shared by Wiradjuri Elders.

Reading the book will give you a better understanding of yindyamarra, the Wiradjuri way of life. It will also give you some more insight into the values instilled in Wiradjuri people by our Elders- giving honour and respect for all, our responsibilities to care for Country, culture and kin, being gentle and patient and always considering the past, the now and the future.

The book is designed to be printed in landscape and bound along the left short edge. Illustrations carefully constructed using AI tools by a Wiradjuri artist, an example of our ways of old meeting new ways.
