Wirimbirra are dedicated to the preservation, protection and sharing of Wiradjuri ways of knowing and being. With knowledge shared by our Elders, and inspired by Wiradjuri Country, we create resources with integrity and authenticity that allow users to connect respectfully with our culture.



The journey of Wirimbirra is one deeply rooted in the red dust, rocky outcrops, waterways and whispers of Wiradjuri Country. Growing up without culture brought the greatest shame our late father, grandfather, and Elder, had. He always felt that part of him was missing, and it was! Through no fault of their own, his culture was hidden from him by his family to protect him. He continued without culture while raising his own children. It was only in his later years that he realised what was missing and made it his mission to ensure that no others felt that same shame. He was determined to learn as much as possible and share culture with anyone and everyone who would listen. Since he passed in 2022, Wirimbirra continues this on his behalf.
